These Upcoming Films Of Janhvi Kapoor Will Surely Include Her In The List Of Bollywood Bigwigs

Despite a major personal tragedy, Janhvi Kapoor braved on and made a sensational debut with Dhadak. Although the films received mixed critical response, it did not hold back Janhvi from becoming an overnight star.

She has already received the tag of a fashionista and brand endorsements are also coming her way, but ultimately it is the films that matter. Janhvi is totally knocking it out of the park in that aspect.  Here are a few big Bollywood projects that will surely include her in the list of Bollywood bigwigs.

Gunjan Saxena Biopic

For her second release, Janhvi is going totally the non-conventional. She will be playing the role of Gunjan Saxena, India’s first female IAF combat pilot who brought back soldiers to safety in the 1999 Kargil War. The film which is being directed by Sharan Sharma will have Janhvi in an avatar that is a far cry from her character in Dhadak.

Takht

Bagging a Karan Johar movie is one dream that even some of the established stars of Bollywood are yet to realize, but Janhvi is not one of them. She is going to be a part of Karan Johar historic magnum opus Takht. Starring Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Kareena Kapoor and Anil Kapoor along with Janhvi, the film will be based on the struggle between Dara Shukoh and Aurangzeb where she will be playing the character of Hirabai, a slave girl Aurangzeb was majorly smitten by.

Ranbhoomi

There is hardly any young actress in the industry who does not want to work with the hit machine, Varun Dhawan. But it is Janhvi who is getting the opportunity to work with Varun in Ranbhoomi which is going to be directed by Shashank Khaitan who has previously given hits like Badrinath ki Dulhania with Varun and of course was the director or Janhvi’s debut film Dhadak.  Well, we surely have our hopes high for this period drama given the track record of Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Dhadak.

Rooh Afza

You know you have passed certain tests when directors trust you to pair opposite an actor as fine as Rajkummar Rao. This unique jodi will next be seen in Rooh Afza which is being directed by Hardik Mehta. There is also a buzz that Janhvi might play a double role in the film.
