This Year Belongs To Lust Stories' Co-Stars – Vicky Kaushal And Kiara Advani, Here’s Why

While last year Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani became the talk of the town for their delightful chemistry and incredible performances in the anthology film Lust Stories, this year the versatile actors have succeeded in whipping up a storm at the box office respectively.

The year 2019 began on a high note for Vicky, who became an overnight sensation with the military action film – URI: The Surgical Strike. The film, which is a dramatized account of the retaliation of the 2016 Uri attack, garnered a massive response from all quarters and went on to become the biggest box office openers of 2019. The film has grossed approximately Rs. 244 crores in domestic collections and is among the list of the highest grossing Bollywood films of 2019.

Interestingly, Vicky Kaushal’s Lust Stories co-star – Kiara Advani is enjoying a similarly successful run at the BO with her recent release Kabir Singh. This Hindi remake of the Telugu hit film Arjun Reddy is setting the box office on fire, quite literally. Kabir Singh, which also features Shahid Kapoor, has been received well by the audience and has raked in an impressive sum of Rs. 200 crores in its second week itself.

The film, where Kiara is seen in a de-glam avatar for the first time, has been breaking the record since day one of its release, and if trade pundits are to be believed, it will continue with its golden run at the BO for weeks to come.

Vicky and Kiara totally own this year and makes us wonder if they can stir up such big storm at the BO individually, what shall happen if they once again feature in a film together. A DHAMAKA for sure
