Tiger Shroff Approached For A Biopic On Famous Footballer Bhaichung Bhutia

Biopics are being churned out left, right and centre. Almost all the Bollywood actors have their hands shoved into one biopic or the other! Shahid Kapoor will be playing Dingko Singh an Indian Boxer from Manipur, Ranveer Singh will be playing Kapil Dev in ’83, Parineeti Chopra is all set to play Sania Nehwal and now Tiger Shroff will also be probably stepping into the ‘biopic’ shoes as he has been approached to play the role of ace footballer Bhaichung Bhutia.

According to a Pinkvilla report, director of Zila Ghaziabad – Anand Kumar is helming the project and that the film has been offered to Tiger. And now, they are waiting for a confirmation from the actor who is now wrapping up his next project with YRF that stars Hrithik Roshan as well and then he will also have Baaghi 3 to shift his allegiance to.  

Given the fact that tiger is pretty athletic and his looks too are semblative to that of Bhaichung’s he will be perfect for the role. The report further quotes a source as saying, "Tiger is a fantastic footballer himself. In fact, if he wasn't an actor, he would have taken to a career in the sport. So when Anand was looking at a popular face for the biopic, Tiger was his first and only choice. Tiger has liked the script but now, it's up to the dates and the schedules. The modalities need to be discussed before proceeding further." 

Many sports personalities have inspiring lives but very few of them are actually known to the common man. Talking more about the crux of the story in the film, the story further quoted the same source as saying,  "The film will also trace how Bhaichung struggled to fulfil his dreams, his highs and lows and personal life as well. Nobody knows what went behind his supremely successful career and that's what the makers are planning to tap into." 

Now, it is for us to wait and see whether Tiger will be able to manage his dates and put in the humongous amount of dedication and hard work this film would require or no!
