Tiger Shroff Might Recreate Sanjay Dutt’s Role In The Remake Of Khalnayak

If you were brought up in the 90s, you would remember the unforgettable buzz around Sanjay Dutt’s Khalnayak. The film not only gave Sanju Baba one of his most iconic characters, but the publicity of the entire film was centered around him as he was actually behind the bars during the release of the film. It is also widely considered one of Sanjay Dutt’s best performance and thus we are not surprised that his production house is keen on remaking this classic.

In fact, Tiger Shroff has been approached to play reprise the role of Sanjay Dutt. It is also special given Tiger’s father, Jackie Shroff was in the film along with Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit. This would be the first time that Tiger will be a part of a film that would be a remake of his father’s film. Sanjay Dutt, on being inquired by popular entertainment, has revealed that they are indeed going ahead with the project and have approached Tiger for the same.

While the original film that came out in 1993 was directed by Subhash Ghai, there is no confirmation of whether he will be the one to don the director’s hat or someone new will be brought in for the venture.

Talking about the upcoming films of Tiger, he will soon be seen in Siddharth Anand’s War with Hrithik Roshan and Vaani Kapoor that is going to hit the theatre on October 2^nd and post that he will be seen in Baaghi 3 along with Shraddha Kapoor.
