The much-awaited trailer of Baaghi 3 was shared a month ago and it left the internet in a frenzy. Netizens were extremely happy to see Tiger Shroff, Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor in the action packed trailer and eagerly waited for the film to hit theatres. However, there was one scene in the short clip that left the audience a little surprised. When Tiger gets to know that his brother has been captured by terrorists in Syria, he states, “If you harm my brother, I swear on my father, I will wipe out your country from the map.” Some fans called it insensitive, while others deemed it as offensive.

In a recent media interaction, Tiger opened up about the same and shared, “At the end of the day, it’s just a film. The intent was just to show if anything happens to my brother... The characters are so much in love with each other, there is so much bromance, that this boy will do anything for his brother, go to any extent if something happens to him. So I think it was just in an outburst to express his emotions.”

Riteish, who is playing the role of Tiger’s on-screen brother, also shared his thoughts on the controversy. He stated, “I feel if you love your brother or any family member or if you think there’s a certain country responsible for it, you’ll say the same thing. This feeling is not there in everyone’s destiny. My character is fortunate to have someone who doesn’t question, if his brother has been beaten, he will hit back.”

Directed by Ahmed Khan, Baaghi 3 is the third installment of Sajid Nadiadwala’s action thriller series. The film is slated to hit theatres on 6th of March.
