Tik Tok sensation Faisal Siddiqui made headlines recently when one of his videos was reported that was allegedly promoting violence against women. The video shows him throwing acid on a girl’s face that disfigures it. A complaint was filed by Rekha Sharma - Chairperson National Commission of Women against Siddiqui on the grounds of promoting violence against women.

Faisal was bashed severely not just by his followers on the app but also by acid-attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.

Faisal later took to his Instagram account to apologise for the video and he also went on to explain why he made the video in the first place. He wrote, "My intention was never to hurt anyone in any capacity. As a social media influencer, I realize my responsibility and apologize to anyone who was offended by the video @ncwindia". But this clearly didn't work after the uproar, TikTok suspended his account. Faisal Siddiqui approximately had 13.5 million followers on the platform. Speaking to Spotboye, Faisal stated, “My account got suspended and I am really very upset. However, I don't want to add anything more to it".

Last week Youtuber CarryMinati’s Youtube video was deleted where he was seen slamming the TikTokers.
