Tripti Dimri Beats Sara Ali Khan And Other Popular Names To Bag Ranbir Kapoor-Parineeti Chopra Starrer Animal

New Year starred on an incredible note for Ranbir Kapoor fans as his next film with filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal, was announced. The teaser of the film dropped at midnight on New Year’s eve and will also star Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Parineeti Chopra.

The movie with its intriguing title will be centered around the relationship between a father and son played by Anil and Ranbir as gathered from the teaser. We now hear that the movie will have not one but two leading ladies and while Parineeti has already been locked for the projects the makers have also signed on Bulbbul fame Tripti Dimri as the second heroine in the film.

Earlier reports were doing rounds that Sara Ali Khan also auditioned for the film but now a Filmfare reports claim that Tripti’s audition tape was loved by the makers and she got the part. A source of the publication was quoted saying, “Some big and popular names had auditioned for this role. Sara Ali Khan had also auditioned for the movie but the makers were quite impressed with Tripti’s work and audition tape. They thought she would bring that freshness to the character and a young appeal.”

Tripti who is just two films old in the industry made quite an impression with her debut Laila Majnu and thereafter her Netflix horror film Bulbbul. Animal will be a glowing addition to her notable filmography and we can’t wait to see this exciting ensemble bring a thrilling drama for the fans.
