Trollers Ask Farah Khan To Remove 'Khan' From Her Name, Here's Why!

What is the best way to usher in New Year? One might have a lot of answers to that but no one can argue that praying to the almighty is a great way to start the year. 

Just like many celebs, Farah Khan also posted an adorable picture of her three kids offering prayers during a pooja. She captioned the picture, 'Never underestimate the power of prayers. Happy New Year.' However, the picture which was beautiful and posted with such pure intentions was brutally slammed by a few Muslim hardliners.

Some trollers slammed Farah for practicing Hinduism despite being a Muslime and even suggested that she remove 'Khan' from her name. Farah, who is married to Shirish Kunder who is a Hindu, has always been questioned about the religion of her three kids. 

In fact, once Kunder was also asked the same question on Twitter and he gave an epic comeback He wrote, "Depends on which festival is next. Last month, they were Christians."

Stars of Bollywood, who usually revel in celebrating all festivals irrespective of their religion are often targeted by fanatics for the same. 

Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan also faced the exact same backlash when he posted an adorable picture of Abram folding his hands in front the Ganpati idol during Ganesh Chaturthi.
