Tusshar Kapoor On Jeetendra Calling Himself A ‘Bad Father’: I Think As Kids We Are Never Happy

Actor Tusshar Kapoor is currently at home spending quality time with his family amid the coronavirus lockdown. His father and superstar Jeetendra recently spoke to HT about their quarantine routine and revealed that Tusshar and his sister Ekta are devoting all their time to their adorable children Laksshya and Ravie. Lauding their parenting skills, Jeetendra also called himself a bad father because when Ekta and Tusshar were growing up, he was mostly busy with work. However, he is making up for it now by doing a lot of masti with his grandchildren.

In a chat with Pinkvilla, Tusshar reacted to his father’s statement and shared that growing up, he did not even know what he was missing out on because he would meet Jeetendra during weekends or on holidays. He stated, “So, he kind of made it up. And we saw all his films... we would see him through video cassettes. We were not really aware of what I was missing.” However, the actor did admit that there were days when having a dad around could have made things easier. He went on to add, “No matter how much I do for my son, even he would have complaints, I am sure of that. I think as kids we are never happy.”

Talking about his apprehensions about embracing fatherhood, Tusshar shared that he did wonder how people and media would react, especially in a country like ours. But he was extremely confident and was sure he wanted to have a child. So with a strong mind and his family’s support, he went for it.
