This TV Actor Will Play Hina Khan’s Obsessive Lover In Vikram Bhatt’s Next!

Hina Khan has had an illustrious career in the TV industry. After playing the lead role of Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai for almost 7 years, the actress bid adieu to the role to take part in reality shows. This gave us a Hina 2.0, someone who was out of her bahu avatar and impressed us with her style statement. Thanks to that, she landed a role as Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay and some even said that she was the highest paid actress of the TV industry.

Taking a leap of faith from such a point in one’s career is not easy, but Hina dared to do it and also received love for her debut film Lines, which was also unveiled at the Cannes Film Festival. And now, she will next be seen in a film which will be directed by none other than Vikram Bhatt. What’s more- this film will have another TV actor- who has been finalised to play an obsessive lover.

We are talking about Rohan Shah, who has been a part of various serials like V-The Serial, Humse Hai Life and Itna Karo Na Mujhse Pyaar. He also played a small role in Krissh 3.

According a report by a web portal, Rohan will play an 18 year old, who is obsessed with Hina. Hina will essay the role of a magazine editor. Titled Hacked, the film will go on floors by August end.

Talking about how Rohan landed the role, a source said,

"Vikram was convinced that Rohan is the guy he wants when he met him for the first time. The story is primarily about Shah's love for an older girl and how it transforms into an obsession and social media has a major part to play in this fixation."

Rohan spoke about the role and said,

 "I'm really excited to play this character. I have never played such a role or seen such an intense character on screen in a long time. My character is primarily the reason behind all the twists in the film, so it's like a dream come true for an actor."
