Gurucharan Singh: If Guru Nanak Devji was not there then I wouldn't have been here. He has taught oneness. He started the Guru Granth Saheb with Ek Onkar, which means God is one and we all are one and we should see God in everyone. Guru Nanak started the ‘Langar’ where everyone has to sit together in ‘Pangat’ and have the same food. So, all the people are considered equal and they are his disciples. He teaches equality and he says; you have to give ‘Dasvandh’ i.e. 10 percent to the contribution of the poor and the unprivileged and for the upliftment of the society. He says you should see God in everyone.  When I did ‘Ardas’ in Delhi I prayed to God to take care of me as I was coming to Mumbai. Within 6 months I got Taarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashmah. He gave me the biggest serial of all time. There were lots of challenges and he gives me support to overcome these challenges. Guru Nanak is very important in my life.

Saurabh Pandey: It’s the birthday of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. More than that we should cherish his teachings and words in our life. Because whatever he has said always touch my souls and it has made a huge difference in our life. Especially I like one of his saying- Everyone comes out from the same light. That's something which brings us to the understanding that we all are from one God. God is everywhere and everything is God. We should really understand that at the end of the day life starts and it ends. What matters is what you do in the middle. Reading Guru Granth Sahib gives me a peace.
