Tweeps Calls Varun Dhawan’s Post Demanding CBI For Sushant A Panicked Reaction After Sadak 2 Trailer Dislikes

Two months after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death the investigation in the matter has become all confused after an F.I.R was filed by the late actor’s father in Patna against actress Rhea Chakraborty and was later handed over to the CBI on Bihar government’s request to the center. Meanwhile, the Mumbai police who were originally looking into the matter have been sidelined and the Supreme Court is yet to deliver a verdict as to who will carry on with the case.

In the meantime, fans who have been relentless in their demand for justice for the actor maintain that the CBI should be handed the reins and #CBIforSSR has become a global campaign. While most of Bollwyood has remained quiet for these two months several actors are now showing support to the campaign right from Parineeti Chopra, Anupam Kher, Sooraj Pancholi, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Shekhar Suman, Kangana Ranaut, Jiah Khan’s mother Rabia Khan, all are demanding CBI probe in Suhsant’s death case.

Varun Dhawan in particular is getting a lot of backlash for after he posted ‘CBI for Sushant’ in his Instagram stories supporting the campaign. The actor who is an ‘insider’ by the nepotism logic is being trolled for being two months late in speaking up and demanding justice.

Many are saying that the actor’s post is a panicked response to seeing the fate of the Sadak 2 trailer which became the most disliked video on YouTube in less than 24 hours.  Others are also claiming it to be a PR stunt as a safeguard against his future projects.

The CBI in the meantime in their submission to the Supreme Court on Thursday said that they should be allowed to continue their investigation along with the Enforcement Directorate’s probe. Rhea Chakraborty’s petition demands that the case should be transferred to the Mumbai police.
