Twinkle Khanna's Middle Name Should Have Been Trouble. Here Are All The Reasons

Call her Mrs. Funnybones or Mrs. Fiery Tongue, but Twinkle Khanna is surely one woman who has always finds herself into trouble. Recently a man threatened with bodily harm for auctioning off the navy uniform that her husband Akshay Kumar wore in his National Award-winning performance in the film Rustom .

Not the one to take something like this lying, Twinkle immediately replied with a tweet declaring that she would answer to such bullying by taking legal measure. We surely can’t stop admiring her fiery spirit.

However, this incident reminded us of a few other instances that made us realize that Twinkle Khanna is one celebrity who always has a way of landing up in troublesome situations. Here is proof:

The Zip Incident

During a fashion show when Akshay Kumar was walking the ramp for a popular denim brand he stopped at his wife Twinkle who was in the front seat and she unbuttoned the denim. The incident which was deemed indecent by many led to organizations pressing charges of indecency on Twinkle and she even had to visit the police station and was only out on bail.

The Mallika Dua Incident

When Akshay Kumar was receiving flak from the world for behaving in an indecent manner with comedian Mallika Dua on a TV show, people were anxious to see how Twinkle will react to the matter. The interest was not there just because she was Akshay’s wife, but because she has always come across as a staunch feminist and voiced her strong opinions about such issues. But instead of that, she posted some funny wisecracks on the whole incident on her Twitter handle. Needless to say, the social media trolled her brutally for the supposed hypocrisy. However, she remained quiet until her daughter Nitara’s name was dragged into the mess and she retaliated with a post that was part apology and part her annoyance voiced.

The Padmavaat Incident

Like any other rational member of the fraternity Twinkle also expressed her solidarity with Padmaavat by posting a best wishes note for the film. But the protestors who were protesting against the film did not take too kindly to her words and even she was threatened for supporting the film.

In another Padmaavat related incident, she posted a wisecrack on the GST bill and the 10 crore bounty that was announced on Deepika’s head. While some found the joke just funny, some were really offended by this attempt at humor.

The Sri Sri Ravishankar Incident

During an on-going controversy, Twinkle who is usually vocal about different political and social issues posted a tweet that involved the famous guru Sri Sri Ravishankar. She called his famed ‘Art Of Living’ Art of Intimidation and needless to say that the disciples of the guru burned her with a fury of thousand suns.

 The Anti-National Row

During the promotions of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Twinkle posted the picture of a man openly defecating on Juhu beach and mocked Prime Minister’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Many thought she went out of line by mocking the honorable PM and tagged her as an anti-national.
