Urfi Javed claims she lost out on Anupamaa because of ex Paras Kalnawat, calls relationship 'childhood mistake'

The actress makes it to the headlines because of her fashion, but did you know that she once dated Anupamaa actor Paras Kalnawat? In fact, in a recent interview, she has revealed how she lost out on a role in Anupamaa because of her ex.

Talking to ETimes, Urfi Javed said, "We were supposed to work together in a show, I guess Anupamaa only. He requested the creative director and everyone to not cast me in the show. Whenever there is even a slight chance of me being in the show, he would request the team to not cast me. Because apparently, his girlfriend present or ex would not like it."

That's not all. She went on to label her relationship with Paras as a 'childhood mistake' and said, "I don't consider that as a relationship, it was a childhood mistake. I wanted to break up with him one month after we got together. He was a kid. He was very possessive. He tried to woo me again by having 3 tattoos of my name, but who does that after one has parted ways? Surely, I wasn't going back to him just for the tattoos. Even if he had tattoos of my name all over his body, I wouldn't have."

Urfi and Paras met on the sets of Meri Durga in 2017 and got together, before going separate ways. Urfi has been seen as Avni in 'Bade Bhaiyaa Ki Dulhania', Aarti in 'Meri Durga' and Bella in 'Bepannaah'. She also participated in Bigg Boss OTT and was evicted on the first week itself.
