Uri Actor Mohit Raina Prefers ‘Not To Be Socially Visible’; Reveals How He Landed The Role In Mrs. Serial Killer

Mohit Raina had been so popular during his stint on TV as Mahadev that one of Priyanka Chopra’s relative had suggested that he would be a good match for the actress! Well, he is still remembered as the Mahadev of TV, years after he has actually bid goodbye not just to the show but also to the medium altogether. He is now a part of Bollywood after a perfect debut with Uri: The Surgical Strike. But he strangely is off the limelight almost always.

Talking about it, he said that it is in his nature to stay away from the limelight. He said, “That's my nature. I prefer not to be socially visible. I want to lead a normal life as far as possible. One can only talk about something when s/he has a project that is up for release, otherwise there is not much to say," before he cracks a joke on his Mrs. Serial Killer co-star and says that he should try to be more out to be able to cross Jacqueline Fernandez’s followers on social media!

Talking about this Netflix project, he also revealed how he landed the role. He said he had connected with Farah Khan and her kids when Mahadev was at its peak. He added, “Later, I connected with her at Punit Malhotra's birthday party. She invited me home for tea, and offered me the role of the cop."

He would next be seen in Shiddat.
