Varun Dhawan returned from Arunachal Pradesh with his wife Natasha Dalal on Wednesday. The actor was in the state filming for his upcoming project Bhediya and upon his return to Mumbai was greeted on social media by few ill-informed trolls as the video of him and Natasha at the airport hit the web.

Shared by a paparazzi, the Coolie No. 1 star can be seen in the video asking the paps to maintain a safe distance and also checked a photographer for not wearing his mask properly. As the video was shared on social media the actor was called out by a user for showing off his privilege at a time of national crisis, thinking the actor was returning from vacation.

In the comments, the user had written: “You went out for vacay and gave paps a chance to snap, now you come back and complain. Stop over showing your privilege when people in your country are dying."

Well, Varun was not one to let the comment slip and gave the user a piece of his mind in his reply: "Well, your assumption is wrong. I was shooting my film and not on holiday. And what do you mean 'Gave them a chance?' How do you not give them a chance? I have people who have also lost their life in covid. So please keep your assumptions to yourself."

Varun and the team of Bhediya wrapped up the Arunachal schedule of the film recently. The horror comedy also stars Kriti Sanon and Abhishek Banerjee and is being helmed by Amar Kaushik.
