Varun Dhawan Being Paid Rs. 33 Crores For Street Dancer 3D?

Varun Dhawan is one of the reliable Bollywood stars from the younger generation. The actor has given back to back hits since his debut in Student Of The Year with just one flop. After The Kalank debacle in April this year, Varun is now set to bounce back with Street Dancer 3D opposite Shraddha Kapoor and according to reports, the actor is taking home a sizable amount for the project.

Street Dancer 3D is Varun’s second dance film and collaboration with director-choreographer Remo D’souza and according to a Pinkvilla report, the young actor is getting Rs. 33 crores for the project. A source close to the website was quoted saying, "Varun is clearly going to be one of the highest-paid actors from the younger generation. He is being paid to the tune of Rs 33 crore for Street Dancer 3D. The call was taken keeping his satellite reach in mind. His films usually work tremendously well on TV and the makers are also reaping huge benefits of the same. They plan to sell the satellite rights to a leading channel for an unbelievable price and the channel is okay with it because Varun promises great viewership on the small screen too. The actor has got a signing amount of Rs 10-11 crore and the remaining remuneration will be given to him from the money the producers make from the satellite and digital rights."

The film is being produced by T-Series and is touted to be the biggest dance film in Bollywood so far. Street Dancer 3D will hit the theatres on 24 January 2020.
