Talking to film critic Rajeev Masand on a video call, Sriram Raghavan wished he could give Varun a war tank at home to prep for the part but sadly the film has a lot to do with him having to learn the physicality of Arun Khetarpal and therefore he can’t do much at home. Varun who was also on the call, said he has been asked to watch lots of period films from the 1950’s and 60 and was also scheduled to visit Russia to learn how to fire a machine gun on top of a tank, go to a few army posts but all that is up in the air now.

On a lighter note, the three also discussed Varun’s latest video on coronavirus where he rapped. On being asked to do it at the spot Varun joked that Sriram Ragahavan might actually throw him out of 21 if he hears it. The actor however, went on to do it on Sriram’s encouragement.

Coolie No. 1, Varun’s next film was also discussed which was to release in May this year. Varun revealed that while film is really special to him and his father they just have left its fate to the universe.
