The handsome and very talented Varun Dhawan, who began his journey in Bollywood with Student Of The Year, has time and again proved his versatility as an actor. His powerful performance in films such as Badlapur, October, Sui Dhaaga and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania not only left fans impressed but is also evidence that he can pull off any character with ease. Much to our delight, Varun has many interesting films lined up in his kitty and we can’t wait to see him shine on the big screen again.

Currently, the actor is busy on a promotional spree for his next release Street Dancer 3D, which also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi in lead roles. Talking about the dance film in a chat with Mumbai Mirror, Varun shared, “Nora and I share an exciting chemistry, hers is a special track in the film. The banter between Shraddha and me will bring a lot of laughs, the way it is for real.”

Varun also spoke about his much-awaited romantic comedy opposite Sara Ali Khan titled Coolie No. 1, a remake of the 1995 film. He revealed, “It’s a film for this generation though we have retained the screenplay, which was brilliant. Sara and I are trying to do what our seniors (Govinda and Karisma Kapoor) did in the original, under David Dhawan’s direction. It’s been a crazy ride.” He went on to add, “It's not a remake actually, but more of an adaptation.”

Interestingly, while Varun has worked in action comedies, he has never explored the typical action film genre. Talking about the same, he said, “Talks are on, I'm looking to explore the comic thriller genre too in Mr Lele. After reading the script, I called Shashank 109 times in two days.”
