Varun Dhawan Starrer Sanki To Be The Official Remake Of Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru? Here's What We Know

Varun Dhawan is going to be a super busy man in some days. The actor, who is currently busy shooting for Bhediya alongside Kiara Advani, also has Sriram Raghavan's Ekkis and Sajid Nadiadwala backed Sanki. Now, we have learnt that Sanki would be an official remake of the 2016 Tamil thriller Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Sajid Nadiadwala had brought the rights of the film and he would be remaking it. The remake would be called Sanki. A source quoted by the portal said, "Sajid Nadiadwala had bought the official rights to the superhit Tamil thriller Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru. Sanki is a remake of the same film. They are adapting the screenplay to suit the pan-India platform. It's a cleverly crafted thriller, where Varun Dhawan plays a top cop who loses his leg during one of the investigations. It's challenging for Varun because he plays a character battling a physical handicap for the first time in his career."

That sounds quite interesting, isn't it? Well, Varun is surely on a path to show his versatility as an actor with projects like this. In Ekkis, he would be playing martyred soldier Arun Keterpal while in Bhediya, he will be transforming into a werewolf. We are definitely looking forward to watching Varun on screen.
