    Fukrey fame actor Varun Sharma is having a phenomenal year. He is currently winning hearts as Kattanni Qureshi in his recently released horror comedy Roohi, which also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. Right after finishing up promotions, Varun went back to shoot for Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film Cirkus. Featuring an ensemble cast including actors like Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde, the much anticipated comedy is scheduled to release on 31st December this year.

    Cirkus is reportedly the official adaptation of 1982 movie Angoor, which was based on William Shakespeare's play The Comedy of Errors. In a recent chat with Pinkvilla, Varun shared that he couldn’t discuss details of the film but revealed that it is almost complete. He shared, “I can’t share anything about Cirkus right now, but we are on the verge of wrapping it up soon. A major chunk is completed and soon after finishing it, I start shooting for Fukrey 3.”

    Talking about Fukrey 3, Varun shared that he’s very excited to be back on the sets of the comedy film after 4 years. He revealed, “In terms of script, it’s more mad, more crazy and more fun. We have already had multiple script reading sessions, and it’s great to come back together. Fukrey is like a family, we start shooting in April.” While the actor feels pressure of fulfilling the expectations of the audience, Varun is confident and promises that his much awaited project will be ‘thrice as mad, quirky and entertaining’.
