    Veteran Singer Kumar Sanu Tests Positive For COVID-19

    Popular singer Kumar Sanu aka Kedarnath Bhattacharya has been tested positive for COVID -19. He has been in the news for quite a while now, as his son Jaan is one of the contestants of the current season of Bigg Boss. The singer was supposed to leave for Los Angeles on October 14, to meet his family but couldn't as he was tested positive for COVID-19

    Kumar Sanu’s team took to his official Facebook page and confirmed the news they wrote, “Unfortunately Sanuda has tested Corona positive, please pray for his good health. Thank you Team KS.”

    Kumar Sanu’s plan to meet his family in Los Angeles has been put on hold for a while now. According to sources, the BMC has sealed the floor he stays on as a mandatory precautionary measure. 

    In an interview with TOI, His LA-based wife told that he has been waiting for 9 months to meet us, she also said that if he is unable to travel later, then they will fly off to Mumbai to celebrate all the festivals with him, “He will come to the US on Nov 8 if he feels alright by then. Right now he is under the mandatory quarantine. He has been craving to meet us for the last nine months.” She added, "If he is unable to travel later, then his family will come down Mumbai to celebrate all the upcoming festivals with him..."

    Earlier in a conversation with Bombay Times, Kumar Sanu told that after working for quite a while now, he would be going to see his family after a long wait, “I have been eagerly waiting to be with my wife Saloni, daughter Shannon and Annabel for a long time and now finally, I will be spending my birthday, October 20, with them,” he had said.
