Vicky Kaushal And Kriti Sanon To Play The Lead In Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein? Here's What We Know

It has been over a year since we had heard that Dia Mirza, Saif Ali Khan and R. Madhavan starrer Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein would be remade once again. It was also being said that Kriti Sanon might be playing the female lead this time, but there wasn't any news on who would play the male leads. However, now we have some update about it.

According to a repin Pinkvilla, Vicky Kaushal has been approached to reprise the role of R. Madhavan in the film. A source close to the development of the film was quoted saying, “They were on the lookout for a fresh and unconventional casting and that’s when the casting director suggested the names of Kriti and Vicky. Both the actors are keen to do the film, and the modalities in terms of the financials and dates for the shoot schedule are being worked upon at the moment. The idea is to go on the floors by end of 2022.”

We wonder who the third lead would be in the remake!It was also being reported that Kriti would have to accommodate both this and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. She would also be seen in Bachchan Pandey, Adipurush, Mimi and Ganapath. Vicky too has a covetable lineup. He will share screen with Manushi Chillar for a YRF comedy, is currently prepping for Ashwathhama and would also be a part of Takht and Sam Maneckshaw biopic.
