Vicky Kaushal Fractures Cheekbone During Shoot, Gets 13 Stitches!

Vicky Kaushal, after the release of Uri, has become one of the busiest stars in Bollywood. With power-packed performances in films like Masan, Sanju, Manmarziyaan and Uri, the audiences know that there is hardly anything that the man cannot ace. These days, Vicky had been busy shooting for Bhanu Pratap Singh's untitled horror film which revolves around a ship. 

But all is not well with Vicky, who has injured himself during the shoot of the film. According to Pune Mirror, the cast and crew had been shooting in Alang in Gujarat which boasts of the world’s biggest ship-breaking yard. On the second last day of shoot, i.e., on Thursday night, a door fell on the actor. He was taken to a local hospital and was flown to Mumbai early morning on Friday. 

The actor had fractured his cheekbone and also got 13 stitches on his cheek. He is currently consulting a doctor in Mumbai and the shoot will resume once he recovers.

Vicky Kaushal, apart from the horror film, has Karan Johar's Takht that also stars Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. The actor will also be seen with his Uri crew, director Aditya Dhar and producer Ronnie Screwvala in an action-based superhero film, Ashwathama. He will also play the lead in Udham Singh biopic and a film opposite Masaan co-star Shweta Tripathi called Ticket To Hollywood.
