What is Bollywood without raging controversies? Recently, there arose a storm in the teacup when Karan Johar shared a video of his star-studded house party which Akali Dal minister Manjinder Sirsa accused the same of being a drug party. Some of the biggest stars of the industry including Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora and of course Vicky Kaushal seemed to be an inebriated state. Sirsa not only lodged an FIR but also wrote an open letter demanding an apology from the stars.

In fact, Vicky was specifically accused of taking drugs by Sirsa as he could spot some white powder beside where he was sitting. Vicky, who was clearly disturbed by the accusations, recently spoke up about it. He said, “What I understand is that people who don't know you personally, see something and make an assumption..that's completely fine. We all do that. But factualising assumptions..It's a big leap to take and that's not fair all the time.”

“We all knew the video was being taken and five minutes before the video was shot Karan's mom was with us. The video was put up. Next day I leave for Arunachal Pradesh. I was with the army for the next four days in the hills where there is no network. So I have no clue of what's going on,” he added.
