Vicky Kaushal To Donate Rs. 1 Crore To PM-CARES Fund, Alia Bhatt, Sara Ali Khan Also Pledge To Contribute

Bollywood celebs have taken it upon themselves to help the needy and the vulnerable during these testing times. The nation is under a lockdown and many people, who earn on a daily basis, have been rendered helpless. The PM of India has announced PM-CARES Fund for these sections of the society and after Akshay Kumar made a whopping Rs. 25 crores contribution, celebs have been following suit. The recent ones who have come forward to help are Raazi co-stars Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt and Sara Ali Khan.

Taking to social media, Vicky Kaushal revealed that he would donate a crore towards the relief fund. He wrote, “While I’m blessed enough to be seated with my loved ones in the comforts of my own home, there are many who are not as fortunate. In this time of crisis, I humbly pledge to contribute an amount of Rs. 1 crore to PM-CARES and Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. We are in this together and we we’ll win this together. Alia Bhatt too would contribute and she shared the news in her Insta story. However, she did not disclose the amount.

Sara Ali Khan too shared it on her social media as a post, but kept the amount undisclosed. In fact, she captioned it with one of her rhymes and wrote, “Time to do a good deed ???? /Stay in and help those in need!/ Your contributions will protect and feed ?☮️/I urge you to support, I request, I plead.” Here’s her post:
