    It was recently reported that one of Vicky Kaushal’s most ambitious and awaited films, The Immortal Ashwatthama, has been shelved due to budget issues. Buzz stated that the actor, along with his co-star Sara Ali Khan, is looking for another project to begin in the time he had allotted to the Aditya Dhar directorial. Well, yesterday rumors about a new project began doing the rounds! It was suggested that filmmaker Karan Johar, who is also backing Vicky starrer Mr Lele, has approached the actor for another film after reportedly learning that The Immortal Ashwatthama is shelved.

    This report left fans ecstatic! It was further stated that Karan is impressed with Vicky’s professional behavior and feels the actor is a delight to work with. Well, while that may be true, Spotboye’s latest report has now revealed that news of the duo working together soon again is false. When contacted by the portal, Karan refuted the rumors. The filmmaker was quoted saying, “No not at all. There is no film with Vicky Kaushal as of now.”

    At the moment, KJo is taking care of his mother who underwent two massive surgeries during the lockdown. Sharing an update about her, Karan said that she is back home and still in pain, but is recovering well. On the work front, the filmmaker returned to the director’s chair for his next project Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani two weeks ago, along with his lead stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. He is also hosting the ongoing season of Bigg Boss on a digital platform.
