Vicky Pens Heartfelt Note For Uri Director Aditya Dhar; Rajkummar Rao Shares Badhaai Do Transformation Story

Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal penned a heartfelt note today for director Aditya Dhar on his birthday. Looking back at their journey together, Vicky remembered when the filmmaker called him after watching Masaan and said they would work together one day. Few years later they left the audience in awe with Uri: The Surgical Strike and on the 2nd anniversary of the film the dynamic duo announced The Immortal Ashwatthama. Sharing how Dhar’s faith in him can sometimes be scary but also brings out the best, the actor wrote: “Happy Birthday mere dost, mere bhai, mere director @adityadharfilms. Tum jiyo hazaaro saal yeh meri hai aarzoo!”

Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao took to his official social media handle today to flaunt his physique which he worked really hard on while training for Badhaai Do. Co-starring Bhumi Pednekar, the film will see Raj as a tough cop and to look the part, he worked day and night. The actor shared, “#ShardulThakur in #BadhaaiDo. Being a pure vegetarian and to strictly avoid any kind of steroids, it wasn’t easy to get this transformation but nothing seems impossible when you love what you do. #BadhaaiDo is a film which is really close to my heart and we had a blast shooting this film. @jungleepictures.”

Badhaai Do is the spiritual sequel of Ayushmann Khurrana’s super hit film Badhaai Ho, which released in 2018. While Rajkummar will portray the role of a cop, Bhumi will be playing the character of a physical education teacher. It is undoubtedly one of the most awaited Bollywood films.
