Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah starrer titled Jalsa; film to go on floors in September?

Reports have been doing the rounds for some time that Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah would be sharing the screen. The two super talented actresses would reportedly be seen together for Tumhari Sulu director Suresh Triveni's drama. Now, it looks like the film has gotten a title.

According to a report in Peepingmoon, the film has been titled Jalsa, and it has nothing to do with Amitabh Bachchan's residence. The report suggests that the title fits perfectly with the storyline. The film would be a thriller about class differences in society. Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah would be playing the central characters who share a different class background.

The film would reportedly be going on floors by September this year. Before embarking on this project, Shefali would finish Darlings, which she is shooting for right now, and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Doctor G which will go on floors this month. The dates would be finalised after Shefali prepares her schedule. On the other hand, Vidya Balan is basking in the success of Sherni. She would also reportedly be seen alongside Pratik Gandhi in a rom-com by Atul Kasbekar. We are super excited and hope that an official announcement of the film is made soon.
