Vijay Deverakonda To Make His Bollywood Debut Soon, Reveals Says He Is A ‘Revengeful Person’!

Vijay Deverakonda rose to fame with his portrayal of the Arjun Reddy in the film of the same name. When the film was remade in Hindi as Kabir Singh with Shahid Kapoor in the lead, it broke all box-office records and people were also made aware of this enigmatic Telugu actor. In fact, Karan Johar bought the rights of one of Vijay’s films, Dear Comrade, at a whopping price, even before the film released. Needless to say, fans want him to join the Hindi Film Industry soon as well. If you are a Vijay Deverakonda fan as well, we have some good news.

Vijay Deverakonda was at the IFFI at Goa along with Rakul Preet Singh. When he was asked whether he would be doing any Tamil or Marathi film, Vijay replied, “I will make it soon into Bollywood.” Well, that is definitely something we are looking forward to. It was earlier reported that he might make his Bollywood debut with a Karan Johar film, opposite Janhvi Kapoor. Janhvi Kapoor had also confessed on Koffee With Karan that she has a crush on Vijay.

He further talked about films and how he reacts to failures. He said that he had thought we wouldn’t be affected by criticism, but he does get affected and since he is a revengeful person, he tries to do ‘show’ it with his next films. Here is what he said,

“I m a revengeful person...when people don’t like my film, I like to know real feedback. A little girl came to me and said she loved first half of Dear Comrade but didn’t like second half at all... But I liked that criticism. I joined films thinking I will do whatever I want to do, I don’t care what people say but sometimes it becomes about numbers (Box Office)...unfortunately. I wish it wasn’t like that. I think Vijay Devarakonda only makes good films. Good films that people like or good films that some people don’t like. But when the film doesn’t do well I say okay...next film I’ll show you.”
