Vikrant Massey Called A 'Misogynist' On Twitter After He Calls Parliamentarians 'Dainty Little Princesses'; Actor Responds

Vikrant Massey landed in trouble with the Tweeps after his recent tweet calling out members of the Parliament for postponing the winter session misfired. The Chhapaak actor’s tweet called Parliamentarians ‘Dainty little princesses' and in turn, the actor was labeled as misogynistic by the netizens for the term.

“We can have massive election rallies, a brief Monsoon session during the peak, but no Winter session...Why? Cos we’re in the middle of a pandemic. Dainty little princesses!!!,” Vikrant had written in his tweet. After the actor’s post, a user called him misogynistic and wrote, “You could condemn this government's cowardice and not be a misogynist at the same time. Try that, its not that difficult.”

The actor certainly did not take this sitting down and clarified his stand immediately in a reply, “Misogyny??? Cos I called them dainty princesses? Like seriously? I guess we can calm a bit down generally and get the gist of what I’m saying.”

Responding to all the criticism coming his way, “Guys! Just take it easy. That is not what I meant. I would never. Apologies if offended anybody. At the same time, thank you for restoring my belief that Twitter is a sh*t-hole. Thank you. Have a good evening.”

Seeing no end to the discussion, Vikrant simply chose the humble route of apologizing and ended thw whole debate. “To all the wonderful souls out there who found my previous tweet “misogynistic” I SINCERELY APOLOGISE as it was never the intention. Meanwhile thank you for restoring my faith that Twitter is a shit-hole & misinterpreting something, said by someone you don’t even know,” he said.
