Virat Kohli Reveals Life Changed After Meeting Anushka Sharma; Is Ready To Act In His Own Biopic On One Condition

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are one of the most adored couples of the nation. While Virat is the most accomplished sportsperson of our country, the latter is one of the most sought-after actresses of the Hindi film industry. While they prefer keeping their personal life private, the cricketer recently decided to get candid about Anushka. In a live chat on social media with Indian football captain Sunil Chettri, he shared how life changed after he met his wife. Virat also opened up about his acting skills and wanting to act in his own biopic.

Virat shared that everything negative in him changed for good when Anushka came into his life. He feels he was very self-centered before he met her, very focused on his likes and needs. However, his better half taught him what companionship is. He explained, “When you meet a person that you love, you want to do things for the other person. You have to open up. And the constant conversations we always had was -- it is not always thinking about yourself, it is about companionship. And that is something she taught me when she came into my life. I was very self centered before that. My life completely changed because I started looking at her and what can I do for her.”

One other discussion between the two sportsmen which intrigued us was about biopics. Just like many of us, Sunil Chettri’s wife Sonam Bhattacharya was also interested to know if Virat would like to feature in his biopic if it is ever made. You will be happy to know that the cricketer said yes, but he had one small condition. He stated, “With Anushka I will definitely do the biopic myself.” Virat went on to clarify that he doesn’t really know the craft of acting, but feels he can play his own role in the film.

He shared, “I can, however, act in my own biopic because I can essay my own role quite well. I hope. If anyone else plays the role better than me then bilkul hi nitthala aadmi hu mai. (Am quite useless). That's what am trying to say. People have this misunderstanding that I can act. But when you have done so many commercials..in that you just need to go from point A to point B and anyone can learn to do that. Acting is an art. Am not an artiste. Am a professional cricketer.”

Currently Anushka and Virat are spending quality time together at home amid the lockdown. They are making the most of the quarantine period and were recently spotted playing cricket on the terrace of their building.
