Vivek Agnihotri Mistakenly Claims Sonakshi Sinha Was Shooting Amidst Lockdown, Rangoli Chandel Chimes In Saying 'It's Not His Fault'

Looks like Sonakshi Sinha is becoming controversy’s favourite child. After Mukesh Khanna took a dig on her for not being able to answer a question based on Ramayana, now Vivek Agnihotri hadshared an old picture of her from a shoot, she seeked the help of police to stop the spread of such fake news. Now, even Rangoli Chandel and Swara Bhaskar have jumped into the controversy.

Rangoli Chandel sided with the Tashkant Files director and said that it was not really his fault to misunderstand. She wrote, “This section of paper carries fresh pics mostly from the day when paper goes for printing, If @vivekagnihotri sir thought Sonakshi ji is shooting it’s not his fault, paper must mention throwback or something... “ See the tweet here:

Swara, on the other hand, sided with Sonakshi and retweeted Sonakshi’s tweet with laughter emojis.

When the picture of Sonakshi from an old shoot was out, Vivek Agnihotri questioned the need to shoot during these testing times when there has been a lockdown imposed on the nation. Ssonakshi took the matter very seriously and tagging Mumbai Police, she asked for the procedure to stop the spread of fake news. She also asked the director to be better informed and shared another picture to prove that its from an old shoot.
