Back in 2009, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone left us amazed with their amazing chemistry in Imtiaz Ali’s romantic comedy-drama Love Aaj Kal. So the audience was evidently happy when a sequel of sorts was announced, starring Saif’s daughter Sara Ali Khan and her rumored beau Kartik Aaryan. Well, the much-awaited trailer of the film with the same name was launched in a grand event yesterday and fans had a mixed response for it.

Turns out, Saif also feels the same way. In a short clip shared by Indian Express, the actor was asked about the trailer featuring Sara and Kartik, and his reaction will leave you in splits. He smiled and shared, “I still remember shooting for Love Aaj Kal. Yes, I saw the trailer and obviously I wish them all the very best. I wish Sara the best in everything she does, she's my daughter. Um, I kind of liked my trailer more.. So, what to say? But I wish them all the best.”

While Kartik and Sara’s chemistry is too good to be true, the trailer failed to impress most fans and did not meet the high expectations that the audience had.
