What A Grievous Loss For Indian Cinema! Veteran Actor-Director J Mahendran No More

Veteran Director J Mahendran who has given Tamil cinema several important films which include Adu Pulli Attam, Mullum Malarum, Uthiripookkal and Nenjathaikilladhe breathe3d his last at his Chennai residence today. He passed in the wee hours this morning.

Public homage for the director will be held from 10:00 AM and his last rites will be performend on 5 Pm Tuesday.

The director was critically ill since the last few days and was also undergoing a treatment at the Apollo hospital for his condition but then he was discharged on Monday night and was taken back home. The director was 79 years old. The news of his demise was shared by his son John Mahendra who is also a filmmaker through a social media post.
