Saif Ali Khan has one big modern family going for him and the actor has over the years learnt how to balance well between his work life and family life. A dotting dad to his three-year-old son Taimur we have seen many glimpses of Saif spending time with his son during the lockdown painting, giving him a haircut and the little one even popping in during his interviews.

Not long ago Saif had confessed in an interview that he resents working late as it means not being able to spend time with Taimur after he returns. The actor had told Bombay Times last year, “When I come home after work and find Taimur sleeping, I feel bad. We shoot long hours, but if I haven’t packed up even after 8 pm, I feel uncomfortable because it means taking away time from my son.”

The actor had added that it a value that he had imbibed from his own parents, “In my growing-up years, my parents taught me about the importance of respecting family space. My father (Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi) was a cricketer and mother (Sharmila Tagore) is an actress, and they both had hectic schedules. However, we learnt that it is important to talk about other things, too, at home and that’s how life becomes beautiful.”

At 50, Saif is ready to be a dad once again and him and Kareena Kapoor happily shared the good news about their baby number two in a statement. Reports claim that the couple will welcome the newest member of their family sometime in February.
