Will Kartik Aaryan And Kriti Sanon Come Together Again For Luka Chuppi 2?

This year in March, we got a fresh pairing when Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon came together for Luka Chuppi. The film was about a couple in live-in relationship and the twist began when the families of the two got involved. Now the makers have revealed that Luka Chuppi 2 is also in the pipeline. Well, fans had guessed that from a picture that Kriti had shared on her social media account, but now we have the official word.

Talking about the sequel, producer Dinesh Vijan spilled the beans to Bombay Times and said,

“It is currently being written. The idea is to push the envelope and play around the theme — divorce sah parivar. The couple is divorced, the family doesn’t know it and the chaos that ensues because of this complex, yet funny situation... It’s a good time to think about what the trend in the content space will be like in a year or 18 months down the line. We will take roughly a year to write the film and then take matters forward.”

So what will this film be about? Vijan revealed that as well and said that this time, it will be 'divorce sah parivaar'! And will it also have Kriti and Kartik in the lead?

“While we’ve seen many films revolving around live-in relationships, we infused the family angle in Luka Chuppi, which made it more accessible to the audience. It was treated in a way that worked well with the viewers. So, our intention is to make Luka Chuppi 2 just as accessible with a twist. We also plan to rope in the previous cast, along with new faces in the sequel.”

So will the entire cast of Luka Chuppi be there in the sequel, or will we get to see just a few? Will Kriti and Kartik have a cameo or full fledged roles? Who will the new faces be? We guess we will have to wait for the answers.
