Will Kartik Aaryan Romance Alia Bhatt Instead Of Ranbir Kapoor In SLB’s Gangubai?

If you have not been living under a rock, you would know that after his fall out with Salman Khan over Inshallah, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is now focusing on Gangubai with Alia Bhatt. Initially, the reports suggested that SLB might reunite with Ranbir Kapoor to play Alia’s love interest in the film, but looks like that might not be the case.

If recent reports are to be believed then SLB might cast Kartik Aaryan opposite Alia Bhatt for the project. While there has been no confirmation of any sort from any end, the gossip also caught the wind when Kartik Aaryan was recently spotted at SLB’s house. Reports also claim that Kartik’s role in the film might not be a very long one but would be very significant to the narrative of the film. Previously, Kartik was all set to sign a film with Bhansali but thing fell through at the last moment, so we hope that this time thing will work out in Kartik’s favor as having a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film in his filmography would be a major boost for his already flourishing career.

For the uninitiated, SLB’s Gangubai starring Alia Bhatt is based on the legendary madam of Kamathipura brothels Gangubai Kothewali who was also an important figure in the Mumbai underworld with some of the biggest dons being a part of her clientele.
