Yami Gautam And Aditya Dhar’s Wedding Planner Spills The Beans About Their Private Ceremony

It was a pleasant surprise for fans when actress Yami Gautam announced her wedding to Uri: The Surgical Strike director Aditya Dhar with a heartwarming post on 4^th June. The couple tied the knot in a two-day function at the actress’ farmhouse in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. It was a private affair with only their immediate family in attendance and their wedding pictures look blissful! Netizens are in love with their breathtaking outfits and candid snaps from the festivities which were shared by Yami.

In a recent report shared by Mid Day, Yami and Aditya’s wedding planner Gitesh Sharma of Royal Caterers and Tent Decorators revealed some juicy details about their beautiful private ceremony. He was quoted saying, “Yami’s father contacted us a day before their wedding ceremonies [sangeet and mehndi] began. The Gautams brought their own family pandit [priest] from Bilaspur or Hamirpur for the rituals.”

Sharma went on to add that the couple was sure they didn’t want a larger-than-life, glamorous wedding. “Instead, they wanted the ceremonies to be conducted in a natural and traditional way, as it happens in their hometowns. They got married in front of a deodhar tree. The mandap was decorated with marigold flowers and banana leaves, with a gold-and-white theme running across the décor. After the wedding, there was a small reception in the evening with family members. The mehndi was held in the courtyard.”
