Yami Gautam shares glimpses of her first birthday celebration post marriage; expresses gratitude for husband Aditya Dhar

Back in June this year, actress Yami Gautam gave her fans a pleasant surprise when she announced her wedding to Uri: The Surgical Strike director Aditya Dhar. The two love birds tied the nuptial knot in a private ceremony, attended by their family and loved ones, at the actress’ farmhouse in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. It was simple, sweet and heartwarming! The year has been full of love and full of firsts for the newlyweds-- from their first Diwali together after marriage to their first Karwa Chauth. Well, yesterday Yami turned 33 and celebrated her first birthday ever with her ‘husband’ post their wedding.

Much to our delight, the beauty decided to share adorable glimpses from her birthday celebration on social media. Along with happy snaps, Yami penned a heartfelt note expressing gratitude for her husband and their selfless family. The Uri: The Surgical Strike actress shared, “28.11.2021 has to be the most special day for me ❤️ Feeling extremely blessed ! Gratitude to my beautiful family & especially my husband (I can say that out loud now Aditya ??) for making it so special ? We should consider ourselves lucky that we are blessed with a family that is so selfless ❤️.”

She went on to thank the other important people in her life who made her birthday special. Yami wrote: “Thank you my extremely hard-working team that believes in me tirelessly ??
