    Superstar Salman Khan who is the producer of the upcoming romantic film Notebook has showered his debutant actor Zaheer Iqbal with praises touting him as a very hard-working person. 

    Salman Khan who is known to launch many aspiring actors is now all set to launch two debutants Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl with Nitin Kakkar's directorial Notebook

    As Zaheer Iqbal who hails from a non-film background has burnt candles on both the ends for his first film, Salman Khan shed light on his struggle highlighting his prep of five years. 

    Salman Khan shared,"For five years Zaheer has struggled really hard. So five years he has worked with me, trained with me, ever since he assisted in Jai Ho. There was one dance step that he could not get. So, I had to stand up and show it to him, the dance step and he has gone and rehearsed 4-5 hours with the director, Nitin Kakkar in the studio then he has gone rehearsed it all night and gone and done it. He is really hardworking."

    Notebook takes the audience on a romantic journey back in time against the backdrop of Kashmir, raising the question, can you fall in love with someone you never met?  

    Notebook has been shot in the exquisite valleys of Kashmir bringing the authentic love story of two lovers Firdaus and Kabir, along with a strong support cast with the child artists, who play a vital role on the story.

    Marking their acting debuts, Pranutan, daughter of actor Mohnish Bahl and granddaughter of yesteryear actor Nutan accompanied by Zaheer Iqbal who has been managing a construction business belongs from a non-film background and has worked hard for the film, apart from having assisted for several films earlier. 

    Helmed by Nitin Kakkar, is all set to hit the screens on 29th March 2019
