Zareen Khan Reacts To Being Called Katrina Kaif's Lookalike Since Her Debut: No Filmmaker Wants To Work With A Duplicate

Zareen Khan is particularly miffed about being referred to as a lookalike of various actresses in Bollywood. Despite having spent 11 years in the industry Zareen feels that being termed as a lookalike has ruined things for her. Getting candid about it the Housefull 2 actress said in a recent interview, “I don't understand why don't I ever look like Zareen Khan to people."

The actress marked her Bollywood debut opposite Salman Khan in the film Veer back in 2010 when she was promptly tagged as Katrina Kaif’s lookalike, who the superstar was said to have been dating till 2009. Zareen went on to forge her own career path in the industry post Veer but the lookalike tag never left her back.

Talking to Navbharat Times about the same she said, "People come in the industry to create an identity for themselves and not to be someone else's lookalike or shadow. I have struggled to make a place for myself in Bollywood for 11 years, but till date, people tag me as Katrina's lookalike. No filmmaker wants to work with a lookalike or duplicate."

 "I think I have a universal face. I apparently look like a lot of people. Some call me Pooja Bhatt's resemblance, some say Preity Zinta, some even state I am Sunny Leone's lookalike. I don't understand why don't I ever look like Zareen Khan to people,” the actress added.

Zareen has worked in films like 1921, Housefull 2, Aksar 2, Hate Story 3 post her debut.
