Did You Know That Rajkumar Hirani's 3 Idiots Also Had An Official Mexican Remake?

3 Idiots might have gotten mixed reviews when it released. The film was in fact given 2 stars by quite a number of popular Bollywood critics while some just instantly loved it. The audiences clearly loved the film and 3 Idiots went on to become one of the most profitable and most loved films ever that not just got several awards from Japan and China, but also went to the Guinness Book of World Records!

Well, that's not all the feathers that can be attached to Rajkumar Hirani's cap for making something like 3 Idiots. The film that has been held dear by many has had two official remakes in India- the Tamil Nalban and the Telugu Snehithudu. But did you know that 3 Idiots also has a Mexica remake?

The Mexican remake of 3 Idiots is called 3 Idiotas and it released in March 2017. But the bad part of the story is that it was a flop!

3 Idiotas was a major flopped that was not perceived well either by critics or by the audiences. Even though the trailer looks absolutely the same as 3 Idiots, it missed the zing that the original had. Rancho became Pancho, but the film basically punctured.
