Not Shah Rukh Khan And Twinkle Khanna But These Stars Were The Original Choices For Baadshah!

Baadshah has been a one of its kind movie. While the film took time to get made and got delayed time and over, when it came out, it failed to impress the audiences. Over time, it got the stature of a classic, thanks to the continuous reruns on TV. While The film has also given a new title to Shah Rukh Khan, it was considered just another flop for Twinkle Khanna. But at least for one time, we got to see Twinkle and SRk together.

But did you know that they were not the original cast for the film? The makers of the film had started the casting from 1995 itself. And Shilpa Shetty was even finalised for the role of Seema!

Seema/Rosie's role

Seema was played by Twinkle Khanna. But back in 1995, Shilpa Shetty was signed for the film. But the film kept on getting delayed and she, therefore, walked out of the film even after signing the dotted lines.

Apart from Shilpa Shetty, the role was also offered to Karisma Kapoor. She too rejected the film due to continuous delays. Kajol was also approached for the film. The film finally went to Twinkle Khanna.

Another interesting fact is that Anupama Verma, who has appeared on the first season of Bigg Boss, had also appeared for the role but could not get it.

Baadshah's role

Well, the lead role was offered to Akshay Kumar. When he did not accept this offer, it went to Shah Rukh Khan!

Another actress had also rejected the film and we are talking about Sushmita Sen. She was offered the side character which later on went to Deepshikha.
