Bigg Boss 13: Koena Mitra On Her Cosmetic Surgeries, 'You Are Fine With 50-Year-Old Men Looking Like They Have Returned To Their 20s'

Koena Mitra might have not been seen in Bollywood movies for a long time now but her image as actress has been long remembered for the cosmetic surgeries she underwent. The actress has now found her way into the Bigg Boss 13 as a contestant, but even before going into she made sure that she addressed the issue of her plastic surgeries and she spoke boldly about how everyone in the industry has been doing it but have made it a taboo to talk about it.

In an interview with Zoom, the actress spoke fearlessly on the subject and said that everyone in the industry does it and then don’t talk about it like it’s a crime. She also said that even after all this while people still ask her about it. Koena said, “This is the worst-kept story of our industry. Many have done it and many do it, but no one talks about it, as if it’s a crime or a sin. It’s a part of my story, so I didn’t mind talking about it. I gave statements and that’s why yeh peecha nahi chhodta. Even though it’s been eight-nine years since, people don’t stop asking me about it. Also, why are only women trapped and attacked when it comes to cosmetic enhancement? You are fine with 60 and 50-year-old men from our industry with no wrinkles and head full of hair looking like they have returned to their 20s!”

Also talking about being a part of Salman Khan’s controversial and drama-filled Bigg Boss 13 the actress said that she doesn’t see taking part in the reality show as a comeback and thinks that the controversial nature of the show is just a problem of perception.

Bigg Boss 13 kicked off on TV on Sunday 29 September and this year 13 celebrities have been locked into the house including Rashami Desai, Siddharth Shukla, Abu Malik, Paras Chhabra apart from Koena Mitra.
