Abhinav Shukla was a complete underdog during his Bigg Boss 14 journey. While some felt that he would be evicted in the first few weeks, he lasted 130 days in the house and was one of the only contestants who didn’t leave the show midway. Well, his bond with wife Rubina Dilaik and his friendship with Rakhi Sawant were undoubtedly two of the biggest highlights of his journey. Audiences found the husband-wife adorable, whereas Abhinav and Rakhi’s nok jhok was an extremely entertaining factor of BB14.

However, things changed between them when Rakhi pulled the drawstring of Abhinav’s shorts during a task. He was shocked and the next day when Rubina found out, all hell broke loose. In a recent chat with ETimes, Abhinav remembered the incident and shared, “It was a violation of my personal space. It was not cool. Whatever happened after that was shown, nothing was edited pre or post.” However, in a way Abhinav feels the incident brought Rubina and him closer because it became an instinctive response that thereafter they would watch each other's back. Talking about his wife’s reaction, he stated, “It gave me a sense of belonging.”

The handsome hunk also opened up about his and Rubina’s marital issues, which they got candid about during their stay in the BB house. Abhinav shared, “Men are from Mars and women are from Venus. Again this is cliched! But it's true that women are designed in such a manner that they won't understand if you speak to them badtameezi se. Or, they don't want to understand then. So yes, I take the blame upon myself.”

Well, in the end Rubina lifted the trophy and returned home with her husband for a happily ever after. So, all’s well that ends well.
