Bigg Boss 13: Asim’s Brother Defends His Friendship With Sidharth Shukla Even As Video Of Their Physical Fight Emerges!

Half of Bigg Boss 13 might be over already but it never disappoints us, thanks to the twists and drama that it constantly provides. At the beginning of the show, we had thought that Sidharth and Rashami Desai’s relationship would be the highlight of this season. But turns out that it is Sidharth and Asim’s changing relationship that is grabbing our eyeballs now!

Sidharth and Asim have always been good friends and confidante inside the house. In fact, they had never even shied away to say how much the other means to them. But now, their friendship is slowly taking a different turn. The two have gotten into worse fights, sometimes escalating to physical assaults and pushing inside the house. In fact, the recent promo shared by Colors also shows the two getting into a physical fight despite Bigg Boss’ warning. Check out the promo here:

These fights have made many viewer’s question the authenticity of their friendship and has even commented that this has been staged. Well, Asim’s brother Umar has now come out to defend Asim’s friendship with Sidharth. Talking to Bombay Times, he has said, “Asim is doing a great job inside, way better than what anyone expected. He is playing an extremely fair game and is also making connections that are genuine. We all love Sidharth and Asim’s friendship, but Sidharth needs to calm down and be softer and more subtle with his words, or else everyone will soon leave his side. Asim is a short-tempered guy, but he tries to understand him (Sidharth) and doesn’t react unnecessarily. Often, Sidharth neglects Asim’s opinion or insights on matters, and that is not a good feeling. Both are strong and it will be good for them if they continue to stand by each other.”

Talking about the reason for these growing fights between the two, Umar has said that it might be because of Sidharth’s growing closeness with others like Devoleena and Mahira. He said, “I think Asim is very sensitive, and the way Sidharth is getting close to others, for instance Devoleena and Mahira, he is not liking the fact. I think Sidharth is trying to play the game now, but their friendship is not fake, I can see that. At the end of the day, no matter what, Asim cares a lot for Sidharth and respects him like an elder brother. But it’s important for Sidharth too to respect him back.”
