Bigg Boss 14: Netizens Laud Vikas Gupta For Saving Eijaz By Refusing To Use The Joker Card During Eviction

Vikas Gupta won many hearts during his stay in the Bigg Boss 11 house. He impressed the audience so much as the Mastermind that makers invited him again for season 12, 13 and then as a challenger in season 14. Once again he touched our hearts but was sadly unable to focus on the game due to personal and medical reasons. Well in last night’s Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Vikas walked out of the house with his head held high after receiving the least number of votes. However, he once again earned respect and love with his decision.

For the uninitiated, Vikas had earned a joker card at the beginning of his journey in BB14. Last night, host Salman Khan asked him if he would like to use it to save himself from nominations. However, if Vikas used it and saved himself, Eijaz Khan’s proxy Devoleena would have been evicted. As a result, Eijaz would not be able to return to the BB14 house. Like a gentleman that he is, Vikas decided to leave the show and stated that Devoleena/Eijaz deserve it and have worked harder to stay in the game. Netizens have lauded Vikas for his sportsman spirit and have been showering Twitter with lovely messages for the Mastermind.

Before bidding adieu, Vikas said that if he was asked to leave the show because of a task, he would have used the joker card. But this is based on the audiences’ votes and he felt it would be unfair to them. Well, we will definitely miss Vikas in Bigg Boss 14.
