Bigg Boss 14 Weekend Ka Vaar Highlights: Aly Goni Breaks Down After Salman Announces Jasmin’s Eviction

Last night’s Weekend Ka Vaar began with housemates calling out other contestants who tried to defame them on national television by creating a false narrative. Rubina Dilaik stated that Arshi Khan makes her look like she is image conscious and arrogant, while Jasmin Bhasin, Rahul Vaidya and Eijaz Khan make it look like she has superiority complex. Aly Goni targeted Vikas Gupta for making a false narrative about bullying, whereas Eijaz stated that Rubina has made a false narrative that he creates false narratives. This went on for a pretty long time thanks to constant arguments between the housemates.

When host and superstar Salman Khan finally met the contestants, he asked where the term ‘false narrative’ came from in the house. Eijaz explained that when Nikki Tamboli refused to clean Rakhi Sawant’s bed, he had said that she is treating Rakhi in an unequal way. Rubina had then accused him of creating false narratives. On hearing this, Salman asked Nikki why she didn’t clean Rakhi’s bed when it was her duty. She said she wanted to ignore Rakhi and didn’t want to do the duty. Salman then said he will be right back and entered the BB house like last season. He cleaned Rakhi’s bed and even taunted the housemates by saying, “No work is small.”

The host then returned to the popular term ‘false narrative’. When he asked Rubina about it, her husband Abhinav Shukla jumped in and said that he was the first one to use this phrase inside the house. Salman asked him to stop acting like Rubina’s mouthpiece and let her talk herself. The host then revealed that ABhinav and Rubina introduced the term this year and accused them of behaving like elitists who think everyone is beneath them, even though that’s not their intention. Salman also stated that the moral of the story is-- Abhinav and Rubina’s point of view is point of view, but someone else’s point of view is ‘false narrative’.

Up next Salman talked about the nominations. For the uninitiated, this week nominations were cancelled and Bigg Boss had nominated Rubina, Abhinav, Aly and Jasmin directly for evictions as punishment for discussing nominations. Post this decision, the four had discussed the many reasons that the makers might be doing this and refused to accept that they had in fact broken a rule. Salman told them that if they think they are so important and all the TRP is coming in because of them, then why did the makers need to bring challengers into the house? Another word Salman talked about was ‘pump’. Many contestants had accused the host of coming to the stage on weekends and allegedly pumping other housemates.

Last but not the least, eviction! Salman played the ‘freeze and release’ game with the contestants and called out Jasmin, Rubina, Aly and Abhinav to the garden area. They said their goodbyes and one by one came closer to the main gate while playing ‘freeze and release’. When Abhinav said good luck to Jasmin, she replied that she just doesn’t want Aly to go and won’t be upset if she was evicted. In the end Salman said ‘Sorry Baby’ to Jasmin and announced that she will have to leave the house this weekend. Aly broke down and fell to his knees, while Salman also got tears in his eyes. He asked Aly to breathe and calm down but Aly kept saying that he came for Jasmin and wants to leave with her. The housemates had to rush inside to get his asthma inhaler. After Jasmin told him to win the show and left, Rahul and Rubina tried to calm Aly down.
