Bigg Boss 14 Weekend Ka Vaar Highlights: Housemates Vote Nikki Tamboli Out; Feed Each Other ‘Fareb Ke Laddoo’

In last night’s Weekend Ka Vaar, host and superstar Salman Khan celebrated Lohri and Makar Sankranti with the housemates. The episode began with special performances by Rakhi Sawant, who set the garden area on fire with her moves, Nikki Tamboli, Eijaz Khan, Sonali Phogat and Rahul Vaidya. Sonali also gave blessings to her crush Aly Goni and his girlfriend Jasmin Bhasin, while the housemates sang ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’. They then danced together on Salman’s track Pyar Dilon Ka Mela Hai from Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge, but the highlight of the episode was when the host enthusiastically joined them!

The housemates then got a chance to take out some of their anger and hate towards one another! A bonfire was set up in the garden area. Salman asked the contestants to come forward one by one, take popcorn and gajak and put it in the fire while stating what their biggest weakness is and who has taken advantage of it. Arshi shared that her weakness is the importance she gives to relationships, and claimed that Eijaz took advantage of the same. Eijaz stated his weakness is forgiving people too soon, Nikki said she gets too rude while fighting, Rubina shared that she does not let her fights come in between the concern she has for people and Abhinav stated that many have taken advantage of his maturity and patience.

Hardy Sandhu and Sargun Mehta then enter the house to promote their popular track Titliyan, which is about deceit (fareb). They gave housemates another special task in which they had to feed one another ‘Fareb Ke Laddoo’. But there’s a twist! These laddoos will be dipped in chilli sauce. While Nikki felt Rahul broke her trust, Arshi picked Rubina because she could not think of anyone else. However, as soon as Arshi put the laddoo in Rubina’s mouth, the latter spat it out. Salman called this act unsporting and later Nikki and Abhinav also told her that it did not look nice. Eijaz, on the other hand, chose Rakhi, Aly picked Nikki for targeting her, Rubina gave the laddoo to Arshi and Rahul chose his ex BFF Nikki.

But the episode was not only about tasks and celebrations. There were also a few bitter conversations like Eijaz and Rubina’s fight and the controversial High 5! The caller of the week asked Abhinav why he got aggressive with Eijaz in the garden area during the latter’s fight with Rubina. Abhinav explained that Rubina was showing concern about the housemates’ health and the argument between her and Eijaz was a healthy argument. But when Eijaz came closer to Rubina and gave her a High 5, he felt Rubina’s personal space was invaded and he came in between. Rubina chimed in that Eijaz tends to tower over people. When Eijaz stated that it was not an aggressive gesture, Salman agreed and explained that Eijaz was just ending the conversation with the High 5.

Before announcing the name of the evicted contestant, Salman gave the housemates a chance to select a nominated housemate whose exit would mean less negativity in the house. They had to spray that contestant with a water hose. While Abhinav picked Rahul, Nikki and Rubina chose Sonali. Rubina got zero votes by the other housemates, whereas Nikki Tamboli got the highest number of votes from Eijaz, Aly, Rakhi, Arshi, Sonali and Rahul. Majority of them called her badtameez and Salman also explained that she should respect everyone around her no matter how old or young they are. However, Salman went on to add that she’ll be fine, which made Nikki smile through her tears. The host then announced that there will be no evictions today but the four contestants will remain nominated and their nominations will be carried forward.
